Scope

The On Request collection includes issues of the Document Delivery newsletter, as received by university departments. The newsletter is published and distributed by the Document Delivery department of the AUC Library at the American University in Cairo. Electronic issues of On Request are collected and described for inclusion in AUC's Digital Archive and Research Repository (DAR Repository). [1] Members of the AUC Library may submit items to this collection. All files and metadata are reviewed by the University Records Manager.

Provenance

The On Request collection was created in December 2011. Collection and description of electronic issues of On Request is an ongoing project managed by the Records Management unit of the Rare Books and Special Collections Library. The collection is publicly accessible in the Digital Archive and Research Repository.

Metadata

The following table instructs staff from Libraries and Learning Technologies on how to enter descriptive information about issues of On Request. Some fields in the item submission template are not included in these instructions, and should be left blank.
