We are living through historic times in the Arab region, moments that inspire and motivate us and times of uncertainty as well. For Gerhart Center staff, we believe more than ever in the power of civic participation matched with smart social investing to move our societies forward. It is heartening to see the business community taking sustainable management and community relationships seriously. Universities are actively working with us to reformulate curricula for engaged citizenship. And we are mapping new forms of creative giving during the transitions in Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt. Thanks to all who support our efforts and have worked with us during a challenging year.
